We are a nonprofit helping other small nonprofits in North Carolina to utilize the Salesforce CRM platform. Salesforce provides a dynamic cloud-based database designed to deliver better programs and services, engage and strengthen communities, communicate more effectively, and raise more resources. Through our trainee program we are able to provide newly certified Salesforce professionals hands-on experience at nonprofits who receive low and sliding scale rates.

Availforce is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that helps other nonprofits implement and customize Salesforce to meet their needs. We also support people pursuing Salesforce careers by providing guidance for certification training and opportunities for work experience, prioritizing support for disenfranchised populations. Because our staff and volunteers receive these benefits as we help our nonprofit clients, we can offer a sliding fee scale to those clients.
We were founded to address two issues facing nonprofits that take advantage of the Salesforce platform, offered for free to nonprofits through Salesforce.org. The first is the expense of competent implementation partners. Consultants that specialize in implementing Salesforce for nonprofits are outside of the budgets of many small organizations. Implementations by those unfamiliar with the platform are often mishandled, leading to inefficient and confusing databases that don’t meet the needs of users.
The second issue is a shortage of Salesforce trained system administrators. This creates an opportunity for those who want to learn the platform in order to fill this need. Trainees gain skills and experience that will put them in high demand in a fast growing and rewarding field.
